I assume printer has main power on? The Rambo boards have the special problem that the port is visible even if there is no main power, but the firmware only runs when main power is on. If that does also not work it might be a problem with hardware. Repetier-Host if it can communicate? You need to deactivate the printer in server to do that.

Just to rule out a hardware problem with the board getting any data in printer direction, did you test with e.g. But some boards work only in one combination as they use it for hardware flow control which is not used. You can try all combination of DTR/RTS setting, but I do not remember that it was important with that board. With ACK on we should get a "ok" for every command send, which you see does not happen. I see the "start" which is how firmwares identify start of operation when they recover from reset. May you suggest me what can I do to fix it.That is strange. I tried manually change the Device / Port in connection tab to /tmp/printer but the Repetier Server didn't connect it.

Needs to talk directly with the Klipper host software via Software talks directly with the micro-controller - Repetier Server Server software to connect to /tmp/printer. "In order to replace OctoPrint, you'll need to convince the Repetier I asked the developer of Klipper to integrate it with Repetier and he answered me next:

And OctoPrint "talks" to the firmware through it.

In OctoPrint I added specific serial port in "Additional serial ports" section - named /tmp/printer.

I succesfully run it with OctoPrint but Repetier Server has much much better Touch UI and many other nice features. The same host computer can be used to run both Klipper and OctoPrint." The micro-controller then uncompresses the given schedule and executes it at the specified times. The host does all the work of determining how and when to move each stepper motor, it compresses that information, and sends it to the micro-controller. "Klipper is a new experimental firmware! It is designed to run on both a micro-controller and a low cost host computer such as a Raspberry Pi. Is it possible to connect the Repetier Server to a Klipper firmware? If someone else finds a solution to the crashing Linux mjpgstreamer on Raspi II then I would be happy too. So you will need to build it yourself and deploy in dev mode. This brings the key caveat that it wont be permitted in the MS appstore. I used for the app the ExendedExecutionUnrestricted mode so the app will run also when the Win 10 lock screen turns on or the app is minimized. It works stable so far for days streaming my ELP1080p fisheye camera through the raspi based repetier server.

must have something to do with leaking system resources or so.īecause I use an old surface pro 2 as touch-device alongside my 3d printer, i have created a Windows 10 UWP MJPEGStreaming app. mjpgstreamer always works well for a few hours and then it stops working.Īs my first workaround i added a cron-job to restart mjpgserver every hour, but then also this stops working after a day or two. I am frustrated that the linux mjpg streamer keeps crashing on my raspberry controlled reprap type 3d printer with current and earlier ubuntu version and repetier-server images.
